Chiliplantor moved to larger self watering tray!

Now I'm starting to get a lot of little heaven chiliplantor in small plant pots so I had to launch another of my home-built self watering trays.

I have 3 St less growing stations where I run up my plants from seed. Two of them do I use to set my little seedlings in pots on, they may be under the lights and with irrigation. Today, I had to move on to a larger disk to make room for new varieties that have germinated and be retrained to pot.

To make use of the self watering trays to their small chiles in pot has proven very effective and convenient when you do not have to fit them all the time and they are very good by the regular water supply.

How to make your own self watering tray you can see if you click “Construction projects” in the main menu on my site. How I built this particular contained in the pictures, you will also find there.

    Thanks for all your tips!
I also like the under irrigation. But my experience is that when the plants are sufficiently large grows roots out on irrigation mat. I was a little less attentive. The tear of the plants from the carpet. Most of the plants was feeling less good of this. Do you have any experience with this?

    Hey Patrik!
No I haven't actually been to the roots stuck in the carpet. Now there are the many different kinds of irrigation and the one I use is plastic on the top with a lot of small holes in so I think the roots find it difficult to gain a foothold. Sometimes there will be a lot of algae, etc.. on the mat as you want to get away and then it's just to take a sponge or dyligt and wash off the mat, It can withstand the.
