Biological control of trips in my hobby greenhouse!

Now the whole army of Orius leather beetles exposed in my greenhouse. The trips ("the French wings") eat and rasps in leaf cells, so that there is dead gray – silvery parties either on the leaves or flowers. You can see their black stool also on flower stalk, etc..

It is possible to combat the trips with såpsprit but if you have large plants as it is almost hopeless to get rid of them because it is difficult to access and sparaya for all sheets.
The rov live skins Orius majusculus RAM is 3 mm long and very effective for tripskontroll. It eats also, spin, mjöllöss and aphids.

You can order skins Orius majusculus RAM here.

Here you can see a short film about how I put out these Orius in my greenhouse.

Hi Cheryle! They are safe as long as there are insects and pollen for it is they who they feed on. Is not it so they die. To be on the safe side so please send an e-mail to Biobasiq Sweden AB Hasslöv Torp 141 312 97 Laholm Mail: Info(@)biobasiq.se and ask the question.

    Hello you!

I have also received the trips. Now when I see your posts, I wonder how it went. Did you beasts? Did you see any noticeable difference in the plants?

    With kind regards,

    Henry

Hi Henrik! Well as Orius beetles are effective but I would probably have had a larger army around. 500 St in order to cope with all thrips then I have so many and large plants. When there is no other alternative to combat American b trips with so it is worth the money to get put out but given all the work we put in to get plants.

    Howdy!

    Thanks for the reply!
I read that the beetles do not die out until there is no remaining trips. You will notice that you have the Rams left?

    With kind regards,

    Henry
